The romance of a wedding...

Recently I had the opportunity to attend the wedding of my nephew (my eldest sister's son, really, I'm not that old). I loved just sitting back and watching the bride and groom interact. The way they looked at each other, they way they smiled - aaah, the romance of a wedding (I know, so mushy!).

I wasn't the photographer for the wedding, but I couldn't resist taking a few snapshots from afar. These are some of my favorites because of the look on their faces. They are so in love! Being at this wedding really made me want to try my hand at photographing weddings (right now I mostly do portraits). This girl loves horses!

My little girl loves horses. And by "loves" I mean LOVES! She wants to be a cowgirl when she grows up. So when we were on vacation last week, she was ecstatic when she found out that her Aunt Carlean has horses. Once she was on the horse, she did NOT want to get off. Every day since then, she has asked "Can I ride Aunt Carlean's horse today." Guess that's the next pet on our list. (Yeah right!)

Mother's Day Photo Booth

I had so much fun doing this photo booth at my son's preschool! The kids all put together this fabulous tea party for the moms, sang to us, fed us and gave us gifts. So sweet! Then each of the kids got to have their photo taken with their mom. I had vintage dress up props for the kids and moms and did all the photos in black and white.
